Text : Khayam in Farsi 

Commissioned by the Gondi Shapour Foundation for an album titled "In Vino Veritas" as an homage to Khayam. The Piece  “Last Night at the Ceramic Artist’s Studio,” I tried to capture Kayam’s cynical and yet spiritual viewpoint, with a title that resonates with the lightness of a modern language often found on Instagram.

در کار‌‌گه کوزه‌گری رفتم دوش

دیدم دو هزار کوزه گویای خموش

ناگاه یکی کوزه بر‌آورد خروش

کو کوزه‌گر و کوزه‌خر و کوزه‌فروش

As dusk descended upon the potter's shop,

Two thousand pots of silent clay in the gloom.

Suddenly, one vessel broke the silence, 

"Where are they, the potter, the seller, the buyer?"
